This municipally owned fishing pier is located at the end of Brighton Street in Perth Amboy’s historic waterfront district. This pier was commonly know as Brighton Street fishing pier, Seven minutes away from the High Street Municipal Fishing pier. (Perth Amboy Fishing pier #2). Just like the High Street Pier, this pier is also known as Groin #5 in planning documents.. Each “Groin” serves as a pipe for transporting water from storm sewers into the bay as needed, such as during peak storm event.
