Located near the Gulf of Mexico, Cypremort Point State Park is one of the few areas that can be accessed by automobile. Along its man-made beach lies the 100-foot fishing pier, which was a favorite spot for fishing flounders and redfish. Other fishing spots include the rock piles in the southeast area of the park as well as the boat launch area at the end of the beach. The waterfront was a perfect tourist attraction for nature lovers and beach enthusiasts.
