Frank O. Downing Fishing Pier, it parallels the Diamond Causeway bridge over the Moon River. South of the bridge, is actually two piers fishing piers, east and west, that are separated by a boat channel. Each section of the pier has an associated parking area at its respective end of the bridge. Pedestrian access from the west parking area to the pier is direct, since the parking area is on the same side of Diamond Causeway as the pier; pedestrian access from the east parking area, which is north of the causeway, is via a sidewalk that takes you underneath the bridge.
