
FESTIVAL PIER
Pawtucket, Rhode Island’s Festival Pier is a recently renovated pier. With a $2 million budget, it was rebuilt in 2015. With its newly constructed structures, The building of a new boat ramp, the vast docking space next to the ramp, and other facilities significantly improves the site. Festival Pier, a public gathering place and outdoor riverbank recreation park, has been constructed from the former Old State Pier’s 5-acre riverfront location. With its accessibility to fishing, boating, and other recreational possibilities for locals, Festival Pier has become a significant asset for Pawtucket.
