FULTON FISHING PIER
Fulton Fishing Pier is a valuable community asset in Aransas County, serving as both a tourist attraction for visitors to the Coastal Bend region and a recreational outlet for locals. Fulton Fishing Pier is a 1,200 foot-long pier located at Rockport, Texas and one of the favorite spot of Anglers at Rockport. In 2017, Fulton Fishing pier was drastically damaged due to Hurricane Harvey, which results to the closure of the pier. The Town of Fulton maintains the Pier, which was funded by FEMA disaster relief funds and private donors. The New Fulton Fishing Pier has been reopened last October 30, 2021. The new pier has the same appearance as the old one, but it now has new LED fishing lights that illuminate the water, making fish beneath the surface more visible.
