PIER’S END FISHING PIER
Officially the longest pier in the state of Oregon, the Pier’s end fishing pier was known for its great fishing grounds. The structure is located over the US highway 101 from the historic Coast Guard Headquarters building. A historic boathouse was constructed at the end of the pier, which serves as the place in the Coast Guard from 1934 to 1960’s. Recently restored in 2015, it is an usual spot for fishing and crabbing. Clam beds below the pier can also be accessed thru a small stairway.
