RIVER AVENUE & CENTRAL AVE FISHING PIER
This landmark was situated right at the junction of Central Avenue and River Avenue in Island Heights, New Jersey. The riverside offers a boardwalk for strollers and visitors to enjoy the scenic view of the Toms River. The Island Heights Pavilion at the entrance served as an accommodation area back in the 1890s. The pier attracts anglers as well as boat enthusiasts since it is located near a famous yacht club.
