Boaters in the Bass Harbor region can use the municipal marina Tremont Town Dock, which has 160′ of floating dock. It provides boaters staying in the picturesque area of the pier with a fresh water hookup and clean restrooms. The views from the marina are some of the most breathtaking on the entire island, and seeing the Bass Harbor lighthouse from the water after only having seen it from the ground was amazing. Just a short distance from the harbor sits the lighthouse.
