2nd Ave N Fishing Pier
2nd Ave Fishing Pier is located in Myrtle Beach and is open during the summer for fishing and food. On the pier you can find the Pier House Restaurant with it open air bar and view of the fishermen. There is a fee for going on the pier, but you do not need a SC fishing license since the pier purchased a license. Second Avenue Pier is famous for it’s wide variety of catch. Everything from Finger Mullet to Flounder to Spanish and King Mackerel, and even Barracuda! Catches are seasonal, with Flounder abundant in the Summer and Fall, and Winter Trout in the colder months. So grab your gear & pick up a daily pass to enjoy a timeless activity you & your family will love. If you travel light, purchase one of our packages, complete with gear, bait & pass. We recommend arriving early to make the most of your day. Stop by our tackle shop for cold drinks on your way out. The end of the pier did suffer damage during Hurricane Matthew and progress is being made to repair this section of the pier.
