Cedar Beach Fishing Pier
69th Street Fishing Pier is also known as the American Veterans Memorial Pier. With views of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and the Manhattan skyline the 69th Street Fishing Pier provides a great spot to fish from Brooklyn. This pier however is going to be redesigned to allows the ferry to again start taking passengers in 2017. The extra traffic and boat traffic may put an end to what many in Brooklyn call their “hidden gym”. Until the pier is converted for the pier this is a great spot to catch blackfish, large stipers, and bluefish.
