Folly Beach Fishing Pier
Folly Beach Fishing Pier stretches 1,045 feet into the Atlantic Ocean on Folly Island South Carolina. This pier is the 2nd longest fishing pier on the east coast and is 25 feet wide and 23 feet above sea level. Folly Beach Fishing Pier hosts fishing tournaments and the lenght allows for lots of opportunities to catch several different species of fish from Kingfish to Flounder. Since the pier is managed by the city it is open late during the summer, but in the fall closes at sunset. At the end of the pier, a 7,500 square foot diamond-shaped platform is excellent for watching the Kingfish action.
