CAPE DISAPPOINTMENT STATE PARK JETTY
These jetties lie within the Cape Disappointment State Park in Pacific County. Built in 1913, these jetties were made to remove sandbars and maintain open channels for travel. It offers a stunning view of the park, including the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and Cape Disappointment Lighthouse. These jetties were composed of large rocks, which is a good location for fishing. Fishermen and tourists were advised to stay out of the structure during rough currents, where massive waves hit the sides of the jetties.
