FONTAINEBLEAU STATE PARK FISHING PIER
The Fontainebleau State Park Fishing Pier sits within the waters of Lake Fontainebleau, the largest inland estuary in Louisiana. The waterfront, named after a beautiful forest in France, has an interesting history as a sugar plantation in the late 1829s. Tourists can be seen on the structure taking photos of sailboats drifting on the water. On a sunny day, anglers fill the fishing pier, which is an excellent place to fish and crab.
