Haulover Jetty is located in north Bal Harbour and provides excellent fishing during a changing tide. This jetty is pretty hard to get to since there is no parking nearby. However, once you make it to the Jetty there is excellent fishing with snook, snapper, permit, and other large game fish schooling to catch baitfish as they come out of the intercoastal. The water here goes very quickly so be sure to bring a decent amount of weight to keep the bottom. There is also a lot of rocks so be prepared with a lot of backup rigs. A castnet can produce a lot of excellent bait but you have to be very quick or else you will catch the rocks.
