HEMPSTEAD HARBOR PARK FISHING PIER
North Hempstead Beach Park (formerly known as Bar Beach & Hempstead Harbor Parks) offers 34 acres of sandy beach and recreational activities, as well as a promenade for residents who want to walk along the waterfront. There is also a fishing pier, boat ramp, bathhouse, and concession area. Basketball and shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, picnic areas with barbecues and shelter pavilions, and a playground are all available at the park.
