HIGH STREET MUNICIPAL FISHING PIER (PERTH AMBOY FISHING PIER #2)
The High Street Municipal Fishing Pier is also known as Perth Amboy Fishing Pier #2, is founded in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, at the junction of the Raritan River and the Arthur Kill. At the pier’s base, there is an impervious bulk head. This pier is also referred to in planning documents as Groin #1. Each “Groin” serves as a pipe that transports water from storm sewers into the bay when necessary, such as during major storms. It is a well-lighted pier that is open to the public. Bikes and pets are permitted on the pier. It provides a pleasant fishing location where you can easily spot railroads, lands, and ships of all sizes. This location is pleasant and ideal for relaxing. However, the beach is not suitable for swimming and is only suitable for fishing.
