JOHN C. BARTLETT, JR. COUNTY PARK FISHING PIER (BERKELEY ISLAND PARK FISHING PIER)
John C. Bartlett, Jr. County Park was formerly known as Berkeley Island Park which is located at 399 Brennan Concourse, Berkeley Township, New Jersey. It was founded in 1930’s and weathered several disasters over the years. The Park features other amenities, such as the 100-foot T-pier. Hurricane Sandy recently caused damage to the pier, forcing the park’s closure. But it was quickly reconstructed and renovated. Along with the reconstruction, the pier’s new attractions include a spray park, playground, strolling trails, little picnic spaces, bait stations, and more that are geared for families. The pier is Free to the public and open from daylight up to 11pm while the park opens 10am up to dark.
