SMUGGLER’S BEACH FISHING PIER
The Smuggler Beach, also known as Bass River Beach, was located in front of Nantucket Sound in Yarmouth, Massachusetts. This fishing pier was named due to its rum-smuggling past, but was guaranteed to be a family friendly place. This place was the ideal fishing grounds for anglers, since it was situated at the outlet of Bass River, the longest creek on Cape Cod. Fishermen can be seen catching stripers during spring and bluefish throughout the rest of the summer.
