WATERMAN POINT FISHING PIER
The Port of Waterman Public Fishing Pier was built in 1923 as a substitute to the dock owned by the Orchard Beach Improvement Company. The pier provides access to Seattle, Bremerton, Silverdale, and Bainbridge Island routes for both commercial fishermen and travelers. The structure withstood the world wars, and was later used as a public fishing pier. The port was known to be popular squid fishing area. Sea lions were also spotted feeding in the area due to its abundant waters.
