CRABBE ROAD FISHING PIER
The Crabbe Road Pier was one of Ocean County’s newer piers in 2009. It’s at the end of Crabbe Road, off Route 166 in South Toms River. The pier is approximately 125 feet long and extends into the Toms River. The depth of Crabbe Road Pier varies from a few inches where it touches the land to 5-7 feet at the end. It’s only thirty feet from the main channel there, on a point that curves into Beachwood on one side and the Toms River on the other. Deeper water can be found throughout the area in the marinas on either side of the pier. Crabbe Road Pier is a well-lit public fishing pier with railings with small gaps that are suitable for younger children. The Pier is currently free, and there is plenty of free parking.
