Daytona Beach Fishing Pier
This is one of the most iconic landmarks of Daytona Beach. Originally built in the early 1900s this pier has been destroyed by fire, battled hurricanes, and changed ownership several times. In 2004, the Daytona Beach Pier was purchased by the city of Daytona Beach. Currently, the pier has been reopened with Joe’s Crab Shack restaurant. Fishing is free on the end of the pier. There is no bait shop on the pier since it was reopened. The pier is significantly shorter than in the past due to hurricanes, but still offers a great spot to get away for a while.
